Disclaimer and Liability Waiver
Here at The Grateful Dog, we want your dog to live the best and healthiest life it can while also keeping you happy and assured. As we are not veterinarians, we create all meals based on careful research, trial and improvements. All recipes are reviewed by our Veterinary Advisory Panel. If your dog has existing health issues or if you are simply concerned, you should always consult with your veterinarian before making any changes to your dog’s diet, including starting on The Grateful Dog meal plans.

In no event shall The Grateful Dog be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of any edible product purchased herein. You agree and acknowledge that any product purchased should be used at your own risk and you should assess the risks individual to your dog before purchasing any product or using any product on your pet. You agree that in the event that The Grateful Dog is deemed liable for any harm caused, the amount which it shall be liable to you shall be limited to the cost of the product.

All meal plans are formulated in order to promote and maintain a healthy life for adult dogs with the help of a species appropriate diet. We do not claim our meal plans, products, or services will alleviate, heal or cure any health condition or symptom. At present, we do not provide meal plans for medical specific needs or severe allergies.

Payments and Promotions

Payment is due upon purchasing your The Grateful Dog sample or meal plan subscription. If you are using a promotion or a discount code, please enter it at checkout to receive an immediate discount. Promotion or discount codes may be used on already discounted programs, however we reserve the right to start or cease this practice at any time without notice. Holiday and other special promotions may, at the option of The Grateful Dog, carry specific terms and conditions, and we reserve the right to create, amend, and enforce said terms, conditions, and restrictions.

Billings, Rescheduling, Cancellations and Refunds
If you are traveling, you can reschedule your deliveries to the next week by contacting us at support@thegratefuldog.sg with a minimum of seven days prior to the original planned delivery date.

You acknowledge and agree that The Grateful Dog has no obligation to provide a refund for any Products. We will do our best to review cancellations of subscription plans due to medical reasons with supporting documents, on a case by case basis.

Refunds will not be issued for delays that are the result of factors outside the control of The Grateful Dog, including but not limited to weather and traffic. If for any reason have we have to cancel your delivery, you will be notified by email or by phone, and the number of meals cancelled will be automatically added to your next delivery. If this does not suit your schedule, please let us know and we will do our best to find a better arrangement.

4-Week  & 12- Week Meal Plan Subscription – By signing up for our 4-Week and 12-Week Meal Plan Subscription, you authorise us to charge you a recurring bi-weekly (every two weeks) subscription fee at the then current rate.

4-Week Meal Plan Subscription: Your first four weeks cannot be cancelled and is non refundable. You agree and acknowledge that to cancel your 4-Week Meal Plan Subscription before the start of the third week, you will be charged a cancellation fee of SGD50.00. At the end of the 4-Week Meal Plan Subscription, your subscription will be automatically extended for another term of the same length of time, and your payment method will be billed immediately, every two weeks for the length of your 4-Week Meal Plan Subscription period until you opt for cancellation. Once the 4-Weeks have lapsed and you wish to cancel the next 4-Week cycle, you must inform us at least 10 days before the upcoming billing date by contacting us at support@thegratefuldog.sg.

12 Week Meal Plan Subscription: Your first eight weeks cannot be cancelled and is non refundable. You agree and acknowledge that to cancel your 12-Week Meal Plan Subscription before the start of the eighth week, you will be charged a cancellation fee of SGD150.00. At the end of the 12-Week Meal Plan Subscription, your subscription will be automatically extended for another term of the same length of time, and your payment method will be billed immediately, every two weeks for the length of your 12-Week Meal Plan Subscription period until you opt for cancellation. Once the 12-Weeks have lapsed and you wish to cancel the next 12-Week cycle, you must inform us at least 10 days before the upcoming billing date by contacting us at support@thegratefuldog.sg.

Billing Date – We reserve the right to change the timing of our billing, in particular, as indicated below, if your Payment Method has not successfully settled. In the event your paying subscription began on a day not contained in a given month, we may bill your Payment Method on a day in the applicable month or such other day as we deem appropriate. For example, if you started your meal plan subscription or became a paying member on 31st January, your next payment date is likely to be 28th February, and your Payment Method would be billed on that date. Your renewal date may change due to changes in your Subscription.

Pause Feature – We may give you the option to pause your subscription at any time, subject to a Pause Fee of SGD10.00. When you start your pause, you will be immediately charged the Pause Fee. Your account will stay in pause mode and you will be automatically charged the Pause Fee every two weeks until you stop the pause or cancel your subscription. When you pause your account, you will retain the remaining days left on your billing cycle at the time and will be able to use these days when you cancel your pause, and your billing date will change accordingly.

If a payment is not successfully settled, due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, and you do not edit your Payment Method information or cancel your account, you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts and authorize us to continue billing the Payment Method, as it may be updated. This may result in a change to your payment billing dates.

Delivery Schedule
We deliver every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. If you have opted for our meal plan subscription, we will continue to deliver to you on the same day, every two weeks. We will notify you via email or through your phone number provided should there be a change in delivery schedule due to Public Holidays.

Delivery Disclaimer
Meal pouches must be stored in the freezer when you receive them and thawed in the refrigerator for no more than one day before feeding. As all of our meals are fresh and preservative-free, the properties of the contents will alter if not properly taken care of. The Grateful Dog is not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. We will do our best to deliver your meals to you in accordance with your specifications. However, if you are not home to receive the delivery or there is no safe place to leave it, we will bring your delivery back to our kitchen. Re-delivery by the next possible time slot on the day itself or by the next delivery date will be chargeable at a SGD 30.00 fee in your next upcoming bill. Otherwise, it will be available for pick-up at our kitchen.

Once the delivery has been made based on your specifications, we are no longer responsible for any damage or delay on part of other persons, circumstances, or for the security of its contents.

Shipping Costs
Each sample and meal plan subscription has a set number of delivery days included in the chosen plan. Should you require additional delivery days, you will be charged at a rate of SGD15.00/delivery. Cancellations, holds and pauses due to public holidays, weather and traffic-related emergencies and The Grateful Dog’s own service disruptions will not result in additional shipping costs or count towards the hold time maximum.

Weather and Traffic Allowances
Our delivery teams do their best to get your order to you on time. However, delays due to weather, traffic and other factors that are outside of their control cannot be prevented all the time. Rest assured that we will do our best to deliver within the preferred time slot. As soon as we receive notice of any major delay, we will contact you via email or phone.

In instances of hazardous weather such as thunderstorms, we hold the right to cancel our deliveries in order to avoid putting our delivery teams at risk. In such a case, we will notify you as early as possible and your plan will be automatically extended by the number of days cancelled. If this does not suit your schedule, please let us know and we will do our best to find a better arrangement. As both traffic and weather are outside of the normal control of The Grateful Dog, cash refunds cannot be issued for affected orders.

Refer A Friend
As a first time customer, your friend will receive a credit of SGD20.00 to be used on their first meal plan subscription (applicable to 4-Week or 12-Week meal plan subscription). Please make sure they order using the appropriate discount code provided. Once they place their eligible order, you will receive an email with a SGD20.00 credit, usable on your next order.

Group Rates for Friends and Multi-dog Households

Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold The Grateful Dog, its employees, officers, board of directors, consultants, agents and affiliates harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including costs and attorney fees, arising from or related to your use of the site and our services.

Unless otherwise noted, all materials, including images, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, video clips, and written and other materials that appear as part of this Site (collectively, the “Contents”) are protected by copyrights, trademarks, trade dress and/or other intellectual properties owned, controlled or licensed to The Grateful Dog collectively, its subsidiaries and/or affiliates. The Web Site as a whole is protected by copyright and trade dress, all worldwide rights, titles and interests in and to which are owned by The Grateful Dog. The Grateful Dog may prosecute infringement to the full extent permitted under applicable law. The Contents of our Site, and the Site as a whole, are intended solely for personal, noncommercial (other than for the purchase of merchandise from our site) use by the users of our Web Site. You may download or copy the Contents and other downloadable materials displayed on the Site for your personal use only. No right, title or interest in any downloaded materials or software is transferred to you as a result of any such downloading or copying. You may not reproduce (except as noted above), publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or participate in any sale of, or exploit in any way, in whole or in part, any of the Contents, the Site, or any related software.

User Comments, Feedback, Postcards and Other Submissions
All comments, feedback, postcards, suggestions, ideas, and other submissions disclosed, submitted or offered to The Grateful Dog on or by this Web Site or otherwise disclosed, submitted or offered in connection with your use of this Web Site (collectively, “Comments”) shall be and remain property of The Grateful Dog. Such disclosure, submission or offer of any Comments shall constitute an assignment to The Grateful Dog of all worldwide rights, titles and interests in all copyrights and other intellectual properties in the Comments. Thus, The Grateful Dog will own exclusively all such rights, titles and interests and shall not be limited in any way in its use, commercial or otherwise, of any Comments. The Grateful Dog is and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any Comments in confidence; (2) to pay to user any compensation for any Comments; or (3) to respond to any user Comments.

You agree that no Comments submitted by you to the Web Site will violate any right of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy or other personal or proprietary right(s). You further agree that no Comments submitted by you to the Web Site will be or contain, in the sole opinion of The Grateful Dog or its representatives, libelous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material. You agree that The Grateful Dog may use and/or disclose information about your demographics and use of the Web Site in any manner that does not reveal your identity. By participating in Web Site contests, promotions, and/or requesting promotional information or product updates, you agree that The Grateful Dog may use your information for marketing and promotional purposes.

Product Information
The Grateful Dog products and services displayed on the Web Site are available only via online request in Singapore while supplies last. The prices displayed on Web Site are quoted in Singapore Dollars and are valid and effective only Singapore. The Grateful Dog does not ship internationally. In the case of international deliveries via third-party services, The Grateful Dog shall not be responsible or be held liable for delivery or use of the products once The Grateful Dog has delivered to the specified Singapore destination.

The images and colors displayed on the Web Site do not necessarily represent or depict actual meal plans or food offered by The Grateful Dog. Meals and meal plans are subject to change without notice.

Inaccuracy Disclaimer
The Web Site may at times contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

Terminations
The Grateful Dog may, in its sole discretion, terminate your account or your use of the Web Site at any time. You are personally liable for any orders that you place or charges that you incur prior to termination. The Grateful Dog reserves the right to change, suspend or discontinue all or any aspects of the Web Site at any time without prior notice.
